Editing
I will walk you through all the poses on the day one at a time, ensuring you are fully confident. When I can, I bring a mirror and a speaker to boost confidence and set the mood.
I take loads of photos on the shoot to ensure I capture the perfect moment, but only select and edit the best, because I value quality over quantity.
Delivery
I deliver photos within 72 hours of the shoot. Number of deliverables depends on the shoot. See FAQ's below for more. WeTransfer is the best transfer method as it is fast, free, and maintains the image's full quality.

What should I wear?It depends on the occasion, location, and story we are trying to tell, so let's discuss it over Whatsapp :) If you have a specific outfit you want to wear, I can recommend locations that will go well with it. Lighter color clothes generally work better as it makes you stand out from the background well. (You are the main focus, after all!)

How & when will I receive the photos?You'll receive your photos within 72 hours of the shoot. The best sending option is WeTransfer. It's free, fast, and maintains full quality images. A link will be sent to your email with the photos and I'll ask if you've received them. WhatsApp in HD quality also works if you don't need to enlarge them.

What determines the final price?Length of the shoot and travel distance. I am more than willing to travel to accommodate your needs. Travel costs R3 per km. If you need me to travel and I have to stay overnight, all costs will need to be covered. If applicable, we can discuss this in the onboarding call after you've filled in the photoshoot application.

How many photos do I get from a shoot?It depends on variables like how many poses, props, outfits, time, and areas at a location we use. THE MORE VARIABLES, THE MORE PHOTOS. Baseline numbers: (Individual) For 1hr, 1 person, with 0-2 props, 1 outfit, and 1 location, you'll receive 10 high end edited photos. (Couple) For 1hr, 2 people, with 1-3 props, 1 outfit each, and 1 location, you'll receive 20 high end edited photos. (Family) For 1hr, 3-5 people, 1 outfit each, and 1 location, you'll receive 25 high end edited photos. (Creative) Everything is tailored to the client. A creative shoot is typically 2-4 hours, multiple props, 1-2 outfit changes depending on location, and multiple areas at a location. You'll receive 40 high end edited photos. Spots at a location are weather permitting (note: only 1 location).

MiscellaneousQ: Why do I only allow 1 outfit and 1 location? A: More than 1 outfit and 1 location takes a lot of time out of your shoot, meaning less photos: travelling to and from to change or go to the next location. If you specifically want multiple locations, I'll need to scout them, resulting in a fee of R210/h I spend scouting and R2.5/km I drive to get there and back. Q: Why do I ask who and how many people in the photos? A: I need to plan poses for each person. Also, if I know that a couple's extended family of 12 are joining in too, I won't plan to shoot in a studio, simply because it's too squished. Q: Why do you ask what I'll be wearing? A: Certain color outfits work better in different locations. For example, a green dress tends to blend in with green fields, or a dark outfit tends to blend into a dark background, whereas a white outfit will generally stand out.
